Bio: Kattina Rabdau-Fox is a creative and curious scientist, learner, and educator. Currently serving as the Elementary STEM Coach, Kattina works with teachers to integrate inquiry into all areas of the curriculum and to support teachers in their content knowledge and pedagogy. She wears a lot of hats including running programs in our MakerSpace, writing inquiry-based curriculum, and managing professional development. Kattina has a Masters of Education from Antioch University Seattle. She studied Environmental Studies with an emphasis on Geology at Western Washington University. She is part of the Science Educator’s Network from the Institute for Systems Biology. She was a marine biologist prior to teaching, and she is probably the only person here who knows how to safely feed a Giant Pacific Octopus.
