Connection through Feedback

John Hattie defines feedback as, “relating to actions or information provided by an agent (teacher, peer, book, parent, internet, experience) that provides information regarding aspects of one’s performance or understanding.” With an effect size of 0.64 in Hattie’s recent research, feedback provides the potential to accelerate learning. Within an online environment, it also provides much-needed connections among learners. But how can it be used in a PRACTICAL way to both drive learning forward and build community. This workshop will share simple ways to deliver timely, consistent, and actionable feedback.
