A core task of a teacher is to provide feedback to students so that as teachers we can plan for the next learning targets for our students. In the classroom we do this constantly, we are checking facial expressions, asking questions, listening to student small group discussions. Teaching at a distance takes the ability to see that live action response in real time. In this workshop I will be sharing some ways to leverage technology to gain more of that real time assessment data to drive our planning.
Topics will include using Google Documents and Forms, Zoom Breakout Rooms, and random name generators to name a few.
